Gurpal Mandair

These are the final print designs for the Gurpal Mandair project. 

the main focus were designs that would hit the student market hard for a Spring Summer collection. i chose to use a variety of inspirations and placed the prints on jersey maxi dresses. i didn't want the print to take up the entire dress which is why it takes focus in the centre. 

Asos

These are the final designs for the Asos competition. The inspiration given was a mixture of summer days, tie dye and the way ink moves through water. I have created some print designs based on my interpretation of there ideas. I struggled with putting together the ink images as they didn't appear to flow on a blank document, sometimes putting them on a garment helps with the process.
